This needle-felted scene holds many pieces of Lummi Island. The tiny basket is woven using some plant fibers foraged here and holds local island lavender. The sand is made from Salmon leather made by local reef-net fishers. The beach pebbles are comprised of agates, quartz, and beach glass found on our Lummi Island beaches.

Our annual 6 x 6 art tile auction is a fun community event. Artists and art enthusiasts who live or visit Lummi Island create unique pieces of artwork. All proceeds from the sale benefit the children at Beach School.
